Debber: build a Dynamic Energy Budget model for any species

Debber helps build DEB models for species about which little is known. It does this by providing taxon-specific information about likely parameter values (confidence intervals and multivariate priors). You can further tailor this to your species of interest by prescribing the value of life history traits such as size, fecundity or lifespan. Debber provides Dynamic Energy Budget parameters for any of the 1.3 million animal species in the Catalogue of Life. It builds on the Add-my-Pet collection of DEB parameters. To extrapolate to new species, we use a phylogeny-aware method that accounts for taxonomic relationships between species (related species tend to have similar traits) and covariation between DEB's primary parameters.
