Debber provides Dynamic Energy Budget parameters for any of the 1.8 million species in the Catalogue of Life. It builds on the Add-my-Pet collection of DEB parameters for over 1600 species. To extrapolate to new species, we use a phylogeny-aware method that accounts for taxonomic relationships between species (related species tend to have similar traits) and covariation between DEB's primary parameters.
Inferred trait values incorporate information from the DEB Add-my-Pet collection. Only species with typified models std, abj, stx, stf. Version 20190314 (1724 entries).
|The method used to infer trait values is described in Bruggeman, Heringa, Brandt (2009) PhyloPars: estimation of missing parameter values using phylogeny. Nucleic Acids Research 37 (Web Server issue): W179-84. doi: 10.1093/nar/gkp370.|
|The underlying taxonomic data comes from the Catalogue of Life.|
